In May of 2019 I met Aquina at a wedding we had a great connection. I told her a dream of mine to photograph a stylized shoot surrounded by books during dinner at the reception and we finally brought it to life earlier this year in 2020. I feel like COVID-19 has overshadowed the fact that this shoot exists. I still would like to get it published somewhere, hopefully I will, but for now, I want to share it on my own site because I am absolutely still obsessed with it. I cannot thank Aquina enough for getting all these vendors on board and bringing the concept I had to life. Each vendor did absolutely amazing and exceeded every single expectation I had for this shoot. It was so much fun to do. Thank you to Our Daily Nada, for allowing us to photograph in your beautiful space before making the hard decision to move locations. I also want to say that all those books that you see on the shelves? Those are all of my books. I hauled, essentially 80% of my library to this shoot, and it was worth it. I also want to thank Kenzie and Austin, who are great friends of mine and fellow book lovers, for participating in this shoot. I can’t wait to photograph their actual wedding next year.
