My name is Kelsey and I’ve been a wedding photographer in Kansas City for the last 6 years. I have honed my post production process down to a science, and for the last year I have started to offer it as a service to my fellow photographers. But wait, there are national and even international companies that offer outsourcing. What could I possibly offer that could differentiate myself from those bigger companies?
The main advantage? A personal relationship with me! When you send galleries to those larger companies, it’s rare for you to talk to the same editor consistently every single time. They divy up all their work among many editors. It’s just me on the other end here, every time! I have found that having direct communication with my clients allows me to perfect their editing style, and become more consistent with each gallery after.
You have one opportunity to tell me anything you'd like to change. My goal is for this gallery to be deliver ready.
You'll get an e-mail with your gallery fully edited and ready to deliver to your clients!
If this is your first time outsourcing, don't worry! I'll send you a step by step guide and video on how to email galleries to me.
Your turn-around time is 2-5 business days depending on the type of session. If you need your gallery quicker let me know and I'll quote you a rush fee!
Answer these questions: do I need this culled down more? What do I need to tell Kelsey about this gallery?
I need at least a dozen edited images from you. If it's a wedding, I need 50-100+ edited previews. Ideally you give me a wide variety of edited previews that addresses different lighting scenarios.
Price of these special requests varies by project
For weddings people spend an average of $300-400 per gallery
For simpler galleries people spend an average of $50-$75 per gallery
Kelsey has absolutely changed the game for me as a full time photographer desperately needing an option for editing assistance when times get busy. She is incredibly prompt with her communication and detailed with her editing. She goes out of her way to ensure each edit is up to par before delivering the final gallery and is always very open to any changes, which are rarely needed, if ever at all. On top of all of that, Kelsey’s pricing is very competitive.
I was hesitant to take the plunge with hiring an editor and I could not be happier with my decision in hiring Kelsey. I would recommend her a thousand times over.
Kelsey has such an eye for the details and honed in on matching and elevating my editing style and preferences so perfectly!
I’ve been absolutely wowed by her turnaround times as well. She always communicates in a timely manner and sends plenty of previews to ensure each gallery is perfect for client delivery! She doesn’t simply copy and paste the settings - each image receives the custom edit that it needs. I’m so grateful for the time and money Kelsey has saved my business and love that I can focus my more personal attention on my clients because of her help!
A real text I've sent to Kelsey: "not to be dramatic, but I would die without you."
As a photographer who took the hard-mode route with not one, but two niche photography businesses, I often find myself drowning in editing work, and Kelsey took a massive load off my plate. She works quickly and efficiently without sacrificing quality - delivering beautiful, polished images that consistently that match my brand guidelines and exceed my expectations. Kelsey is easy to communicate with and responds promptly to any questions or concerns. I highly recommend hiring Kelsey for any busy photographer looking to save valuable time without compromising on the quality of their work.
Well, I love to edit. I love the post production process. And some photographers hate it. Some photographers shoot way more in a given week than I do (I limit myself to 3 shoots a week). Everyone’s process is different and I just so happen to adore my post production process. It also helps that I’m a home body, and have two cats as children
I’m always open for new clients. However, there is always a rare possibility where I have a lot of projects going on and I can’t take on any more projects. I’ll do my best to keep this page updated if for some reason I cannot accept any more projects.
I will walk you through each step on how to make it as smooth as possible for you. It’s very easy to do! I’m also willing to get you on a zoom call and walk you through it if you still are having trouble. I am here to help!
