Shawnee Mission Park in Lenexa, Kansas is a place that Ica and Scout frequent to bring their pup! So, of course, we had to shoot their engagement photos there!
I met up with Ica and Scout at Shawnee Mission Park in Lenexa Kansas to take their engagement photos. They also brought their adorable pit bull, Chicken, with them. From the moment I first met Ica and Scout at the Roasterie in Kansas City, Missouri, I knew I wanted to document their love. They have such a great energy with one another, and it’s quite obvious how contagious it is. During their shoot, we had such a blast! We were fortunate enough to have the sun’s presence to get some gorgeous golden hour shots in some tall grass, and ending the shoot near the lake.
I learned so much about the two of them!
Ok, one, they showed off their dance skills with me and NAILED it! Two, they were so natural and comfortable with one another, and took every opportunity to snuggle in close. And three, their interactions were always playful, and the word “CAT!” was said many times alluding to an inside joke the two of them shared. Couples who are so open with each other and with me creates the loveliest photos!
I cannot wait for their wedding this coming summer!
