Deandra and Hunter celebrated their beautiful summer wedding at the austin in Kansas City, Missouri surrounded by friends and family from near and far.
Deandra and Hunter live in Las Vegas but knew they wanted to have their wedding day in Kansas City where they grew up. They met at Uptown Theater back in 2016. I had the pleasure of getting to photograph them at Zion National Park for their engagement session out in Utah, and even though those sights were absolutely amazing, their wedding was just as gorgeous.
They got ready at Hotel Kansas City, shared personal vows with each other in the lobby and then headed to Kauffman Center to get some photographs with their hyped wedding party. Soon after, we headed to the Austin to get them married. I absolutely adored their nods to Las Vegas within their decor, and table settings. My favorite part was the homemade sweets and the Betty Rae’ ice cream truck. After a choreographed first dance and some emotional toasts, the party got started!
I absolutely adored photographing these two. They radiate such a positive fun energy to everyone they surround. They are the definition of pure fun and I was honored I got to be a part of their day.

Kelsey was our wedding photographer in August 2022 in Kansas City and we additionally worked with her for an engagement shoot at Zion National Park. KELSEY IS AMAZING! I had her on my radar for a year or so pre-engagement, so her work drew me in, but meeting with her 1:1 is what sealed the deal. She is so fun and makes you feel extremely comfortable with the process. I can tell she is so passionate about her career and loves what she does. She excels at prompting you on things to do/say/act while shooting and she is able to make the end product look genuine and not cheesy at all. We love how her photography style is very “in the moment” and utilizes natural lighting. And on the day of the wedding she makes everything so efficient, we were blown away. She has perfected her art of making sure the day runs smoothly from the photography standpoint of the wedding. 100% we recommend Kelsey!
