Robby and Jayden’s wedding at The Legacy at Green Hills was the kind of celebration that reminds you what love feels like — emotional, joyful, and deeply meaningful. From the moment I arrived, it was clear this wasn’t just a wedding; it was the joining of two families, the weaving together of memories, and a celebration overflowing with genuine joy. Robby and Jayden were so present with each other, reminding us all what weddings are truly about. Every detail was so intentional—from the beautiful dried florals they found on Etsy to the personal touches scattered throughout the day. And when the rain showed up during the ceremony, it didn’t dampen a thing. If anything, it made the moment feel even more magical.

Why I’m So In Love With The Legacy at Green Hills
If you’re dreaming of a wedding that feels elegant, personal, and a little bit magical, The Legacy at Green Hills is the place. Tucked away just outside of Kansas City, this venue has that perfect balance of rustic charm and refined style. With sweeping hillsides, tall trees, and timeless architecture, it’s the kind of place that makes every photo feel cinematic. The space itself is so effortlessly romantic, with soft light spilling in through big windows and an atmosphere that instantly feels like home. Whether you’re planning an intimate ceremony or a full celebration, The Legacy at Green Hills has a way of making everything feel genuine. It was truly the perfect setting for Robby and Jayden’s celebration — warm, welcoming, and every bit as vibrant as their love.

Rain, Vows & The Sweetest Family Moments
As the ceremony began, the sky opened up with a light rain, and somehow, it just added to the magic. You know those cinematic moments that feel too perfect to script? This was one of them. Robby shared a tender moment with his three sisters, and the joy radiating from everyone was palpable. Halfway through Jayden’s vows, she turned to Robby’s son Landon, and shared personal vows just for him too. The entire crowd melted (myself included!). You could feel the love, the intention, the promise of a family truly coming together. It’s one of those moments that will stay with me forever. Their ceremony was deeply personal, and even as the rain fell, it was like the world stood still, celebrating right along with them.

Heartfelt Toasts, Ice Cream, and a Beautiful Tribute
The reception carried the same warmth. It was full of laughter, happy tears, and stories that had everyone smiling. Friends and family gave some of the most touching toasts, the kind that make you laugh one minute and tear up the next. A special memorial was set up in honor of Robby’s mother to remind everyone how much love she continues to bring into their lives. It was such a meaningful way to keep her presence close throughout the day. Since these two know how to throw a celebration, there was an ice cream truck from Ella Mae’s Creamery waiting for guests after dinner. It was the most perfect surprise to end the day. Kids and adults alike were grinning from ear to ear, and I couldn’t have been more honored to witness it.

Sweet Note From the Couple
“She makes you artwork representative of you. We chose her as our wedding photographer for her use of light/color as well as her natural looking candids. Plus her blurb about herself seemed like a social fit and she didn’t disappoint. You can feel the love looking at her photos of couples. She somehow is a social chameleon and natural leader at the same time. Making for an effortless flow of the vibes you want while still getting the shots she sees you loving forever. She listens to integrate your visions, but if you don’t have any or just trust her she will show you her creative eye for the vibrancy of the moment. She is also a good human. She’s easy to work with and mitigates any potential awkwardness around a photo shoot.”
