I had met Sarah and Summer back in 2016 when I photographed one of the first weddings I had ever shot under my own name.
I sat with them at the reception and got to know them a bit. And now, here we are, in 2019, where I’ll be photographing their wedding this coming June, and I am SO SO excited to photograph it. Sarah and Summer are just…so wonderful. They are hilarious, spontaneous, and balance each other perfectly. For their engagement, we took some photos at the Replay in Lawrence, Kansas where Summer used to play shows at with a band. Across the street was the Jackpot, which is where Sarah and Summer met. We then traversed the alleyways of Lawrence, and then ended their session at Potter’s Lake on KU’s campus. I cannot wait their big day. Enjoy their adorable highlights.
