Roberta and Danny sure know how to throw a killer party.
There are so many elements to this wedding that I fell in love with. It is so different than the weddings I normally photograph in Kansas City, Missouri. It might become a rant but I’m going to just name all the details I loved.
They got ready at Loew’s Hotel in downtown Kansas City. The hotel has this beautiful white staircase that heads up to their patio that overlooks the city. The vibe totally complimented their venue The Gallery in every single way.
Roberta’s dress is a dress I have not seen very often. It’s a hi-low dress and it came in two pieces. I was absolutely obsessed with her glittery shoes too. Danny also included these striking snake cufflinks for a subtle nod to the pet snakes they have at home.
Can we just love and appreciate the floral altar that Good Earth Floral made them?! Cause holy cow.
At their ceremony, they shared gorgeous personal handwritten vows, and then they were ready to party. The two of them absolutely love to dance specifically to house/club music, and DJ Fernando did not disappoint them. Their signature drink was a Caipirinha which is Brazil’s national cocktail because Roberta is from Brazil! Danny himself did all the signage. They were so perfectly beautiful and reflective of their wedding color choice of teals and blues.
As I was photographing this day, I just knew it needed to be shared. Just LOOK AT THEM! They are such a freaking blast to photograph and be around.
