It is no secret that COVID-19 has hit a lot of couples and their wedding day plans, and Maris and Lucas were one of those couples.
Maris and Lucas were supposed to get married on September 19th of 2020. Earlier this spring, we had scheduled their engagement session. A week before, Maris emailed me and asked me how I’d feel if, instead of photographing their engagement, I photographed them getting married surrounded by 3 of their closest friends at Belvoir Winery, their venue, instead and it was magical. Within a week Maris and Lucas organized their elopement with gorgeous details, bubbles, cake, and toasts to end the night. It was the first time I photographed them, and they killed it. They were so much fun and I was so happy to have been a witness to such a gorgeous ceremony. Congratulations you two.
