Capturing Love’s Vibes: A Wild Ride with Hannah and AJ in Kansas City 💍📸
Buckle up for this one! I had met Hannah years before at one of her friend’s wedding days, so I was so thrilled to be a part of her big day with AJ. They are so perfect for one another. They met one night at Up-Down Barcade and the rest was history.
The day unfolded at Loew’s Hotel. What made this spot truly special was the private exchange of personal vows between Hannah and AJ after their first look. Away from the hustle and bustle, in the intimacy of the beautiful stairwell at Loew’s Hotel, they poured their hearts out to each other. The result? Many tears.
Then we headed to Country Club Methodist Church to get them officially married. I ADORE the tones of this church. It’s modern but cozy. I also got some unique perspectives in the alcoves that allowed me to get their parent’s tears and their ring exchange extra close up than normal. After they were officially married we were off to the fire department AJ works at. I was SO stoked about this. Anything that can add unique elements to any couple I photograph is an A+ in my book. They killed it during their portrait session, bringing their A-game to showcase the magic of their love.
Before the reception at The Guild, we had a quick break for furry friends. Their cats, Hazel and Biscuit, were a requirement to be photographed in their little flower girl dresses. Although Biscuit was not for it, Hazel did not hesitate to strut her dress.
The grand finale went down at The Guild, decked out with a carefully curated color scheme. The venue became the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable reception. Laughter, dancing, and heartfelt toasts filled the air, creating a symphony of love that echoed through the night. The careful curation of colors transformed the space into a visual party, reflecting the joy and celebration of Hannah and AJ’s union.
