Maddie and Austin tied the knot at the beautiful vintage Drexel Hall in Kansas City, Missouri. It was a day full of emotion, joy, rain, and so much love.
There are so many things I could talk about regarding Maddie and Austin’s beautiful relationship and wedding day. Let me tell you, the weather did not want to make up its mind. It would rain, and then stop, and just as we were about to go out for photos, it’d rain again. But, in the end, the entire day was absolutely stunning. Some highlights: I loved that Maddie used perfume she purchased in Europe in high school that she promised to use for her wedding day. We were able to do portraits at the stunning Hotel Phillips after the ceremony. At the reception, both sets of parents had beautiful toasts prepared to express how much both of their children mean to them. And finally, to top it off, after the ceremony, the rain stopped, and they were able to have a bubble exit. What’s beautiful is that Maddie’s family would call their grandmother “Bubble” and so it really seemed to be a sign sent from grandma.
